The new powerhouse of Olhuvelifushi Island of Lhaviyani Atoll has been inaugurated.

The new powerhouse of Olhuvelifushi Island was officially inaugurated by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Thursday.

Olhuvelifushi powerhouse, inauguration ceremony was held as part of the President's tour of the atoll.

The powerhouse on Olhuvelifushi Island is a facility that represents an improvement to the existing infrastructure. Its strategic location, away from the residential area, minimizes disruption to the island's inhabitants.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
