President Solih to tour some islands of Faafu atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to depart on a tour of some islands in Faafu atoll, on Saturday.
Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Miuvan Mohamed revealed that President Solih will be departing on the two-day brief visit on Saturday.
As part of his tour, President Solih will be visiting Nilandhoo, Dharanboodhoo, Magoodhoo, Feeali and Bilehdhoo.
The PO Spokesperson went on to highlight that during the visit, President Solih will be inaugurating the services of some of the government’s projects initiated in the islands, that have reached completion.
Further, the President is also scheduled to sit down with the members of the councils and Women’s Development Committees (WDCs) of the respective islands as part of the trip.
The island councils will have the opportunity to report the situation of their respective islands directly to the President.
The two-day trip will be from Saturday to Sunday.
