MP Musthafa's mother, Aishath Ali Manik passed away on Wednesday evening

MP for Thimarafushi constituency, Mohamed Musthafa

Mother of MP for Thimarafushi constituency Mohamed Musthafa has passed away on Wednesday, at the age of 79.

RaajjeMV understands that Aishath Ali Manik, M. Seawall, passed away at around 5 pm on Wednesday.

A family member, who spoke to RaajjeMV, said they had to break down her door after failing to hear any news from her in a while.

While she is currently being kept in the hospital's mortuary her, burial is to be held after dawn prayers on Thursday.
