President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih attended Club Maldives finale
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has attended the final match and closing ceremony of the Club Maldives Cup 2022.
The local NGO Club Maldives organized the tournament at the Rehendhi Futsal Turf in Hulhumalé, on Saturday.
The ceremony saw President Solih giving away the "King of Futsal" award and presenting the championship trophy and medals to the champion team.
The team from FENAKA Corporation Limited was the champion, beating Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) 2-1 in the finals.
The tournament this year featured 31 teams.
Club Maldives, which organized the biggest futsal event in the Maldives, has been actively working with individuals and institutions to create awareness of social issues.
This year, the NGO raised awareness for the Blind and Visually Impaired Society of the Maldives (BVISM).
