A new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has been appointed to the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA).
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Thursday.
As such, Mariyam Shafeeq has been appointed the new CEO of NSPA.
Her appointment came following the resignation of Ismail Azzam Wajeeh from the position.
Prior to her appointment to the post of NSPA’s CEO, Mariyam served as the Managing Director of Aasandha Company Ltd.
Mariyam has a Master’s Degree in Health Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
