First Lady Fazna Ahmed inaugurated the Maldives branch of the ABWCI on Saturday, at a ceremony held at the Maldives Centre for Social Education (MCSE).
The Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry carries the aim of understanding the needs of the future in the context of women's entrepreneurship, be responsive to the challenges women entrepreneurs face and assist them in the global economy.
The platform is dedicated to women’s economic empowerment in business.
The membership of the virtual global chamber of commerce, spans across some of the most prominent women entrepreneurs, organizations, educational institution and companies investing in women.
First Lady Fazna visited a handicraft exhibition on the MCSE grounds following the inauguration ceremony.
