UK Visa application center opened at the Foreign Ministry

The UK Visa Application Center is now opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The UK Visa Application Center has started accepting visa applications from Monday onwards.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Visa Centre will take the biometric enrolments and documents from all applicants who have made prior appointments.
According to the information disclosed by the Ministry, the temporary UK Visa application center will be open from 1st of August 2022 to 3rd of August 2022.
The ministry has advised applicants to use the link,https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/applyto begin the application process.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlights that the temporary UK Visa application service is provided to assist Maldivians especially students travelling to the United Kingdom for further studies, to easily and conveniently apply for their Visas. These temporary UK Visa application centers are hosted by the Ministry, annually.
The Government of the United Kingdom established the Visa Application Center in the Maldives on the request of the Maldivian Government, hence the has expressed gratitude for the Government of UK for providing this service in the Maldives.
