President Solih to undertake official visit to India

The President’s Office revealed that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be departing on an official visit to the neighboring country, on August 1.
The visit comes upon the invitation of India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
During the visit, scheduled from August 1 – 4, the president will engage in numerous high-level discussions with the Indian government.
The discussions carry the purpose of further solidifying the strong friendship and development partnership between Maldives and India.
