The tourist passed away in a drowning accident at Riu Resort
A tourist was killed in a drowning accident at a resort in Dhaalu Atoll, on Wednesday.
According to the Maldives Police Service (MPS), this incident was reported at 12:33pm on Wednesday.
RaajjeMV understands that the deceased is a 35-year-old Ukrainian man who was vacationing in Hotel Riu Palace, located in Dhaalu atoll.
In addition to this incident, a five-year-old Russian boy also died in another drowning incident on Tuesday, at a different resort.
