Ooredoo Maldives has announced an exciting lucky draw, offering to fly two lucky customers to participate in the Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2025.
The lucky draw was announced exclusively for their customers, for the 13th edition of the Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2025 slated for 17 January 2025 in Qatar.
Interested individuals have been urged to visit the Ooredoo website to register for the exciting event.
Registrations are open from October 26 – November 26.
The window for registrations will close at 11:59pm on November 26.
Two fortunate winners will score an incredible chance to take part in the thrilling Doha Marathon.
More than 15,000 runners are anticipated to join the exhilarating event and the telecommunications giant revealed that they will be arranging return tickets and accommodation for two as part of the lucky draw.
The telecom provider stated that to be eligible, participants must be Ooredoo customers for at least one year, have previously completed a half marathon or marathon, and possess a valid Maldivian passport, meeting all travel requirements for Qatar.
Ooredoo revealed that this year’s event promises a vibrant atmosphere and exciting activities for families, adding that the marathon will start and finish at Hotel Park.
The marathon course will run along Doha's stunning corniche, providing a beautiful and safe experience for runners and spectators alike.
Participants may collect their timing chip, t-shirt and race number between January 14 – 16.
Race categories include 42 kilometers, 21 kilometers, 10 kilometers, five kilometers and a ‘Kids Fun Run’ category.
Ooredoo will also offer an early bird discount:
- 42km, priced at 300 Qatari Riyal is priced at 265 Qatari Riyal
- 21km, priced at 250 Qatari Riyal is priced at 215 Qatari Riyal
- 10km, priced at 200 Qatari Riyal is priced at 160 Qatari Riyal
- Five km, priced at 150 Qatari Riyal is priced at 130 Qatari Riyal
- Kids Fun Run, priced at 100 Qatari Riyal is priced at 85 Qatari Riyal.
Participants must be above 18 years of age to participate in the 42km run, a minimum of 16 years old to participate in the 21km run, 14 and above to participate in the 10km run, 12 years for the five km run and between the ages of five – 12 years to participate in the ‘Kids Fun Run’ category.
Ooredoo also revealed that four or more runners across any mix of events on the same order will be entitled to a 25 percent discount on their registration total.
