Officer Cadet Firushana Thaufeeq has received the Best International Award for her stellar performance in The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst's Commissioning Course, and has been praised by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for her achievements that have made the nation proud.

Officer Cadet Firushana Thaufeeq is the first Maldivian woman to have participated in RAM Sandhurst's Commissioning Course.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih tweeted in recognition of her achievements, offering his congratulations and noting that she had made the nation proud with her performance at the academy.

Many have recognized Officer Cadet Firushana's determination in achieving her honors, including the British High Commissioner to Maldives Caron Rohsler and the Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal.

The Maldives National Defense Force also congratulated Officer Cadet Firushana on her achievements. The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst's Commissioning Course is one of the most prestigious military training opportunities on a global scale, designed to train military officers and develop leaders from different parts of the world.
