President Solih travels to Dubai on an unofficial trip

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on a three-day trip.
President’s Office confirmed to RaajjeMV that the president is in Dubai on an unofficial trip, and that he left the country on Saturday.
While Solih is set to return home on Tuesday, no further details were disclosed.
This is the president’s first trip abroad in 2021, as well as his first visit out of the country -official or otherwise- since the Covid-19 pandemic.
He made only three official trips since March 2020, all to other regions of the archipelago nation.
