Qasim arrested once again

Maamigili Constituency MP and Jumhooree Party Leader Qasim Ibrahim has been arrested once again.
Police arrested him from his residence of M. Maafannu Villa, a while after he had returned back from JP headquarters of M. Kunooz.
JP Secretary General Ahmed Sameer had confirmed the arrest, stating that Qasim was arrested around midnight on Thursday. He was given a short while to prepare himself. Sameer added that a court order was produced a while before he was arrested. He had beeen sent off to Dhoonidhoo.
Qasim's lawyer Hisaan Hussain noted that Qasim was deprived of access to his lawyers and that they did not see the court order issued for his arrest.
