Bank of Maldives (BML) has resolved an issue that arose on Wednesday night, where some customers faced double transactions.
A number of its customers reported issues of duplicate transactions, on social media, on Wednesday night.
The bank said that there was an issue with some of its customer transactions on debit cards with some being deducted twice.
BML identified the error and reversed the transactions for the customers that were affected, by early Thursday morning.
However, it did not disclose an exact reason for the issue and apologized to customers for the inconvenience caused.
