Most cases in Feb. were over violence against children: Gender Ministry
The ministry said that it had received a total of 240 cases in February
The ministry received thirty two cases of violence against children in February
The Ministry of Gender and Family said that the majority of cases they received in February were of violence against children.
The ministry said on Tuesday that it had received a total of 240 cases in February - 32 of which is over violence against minors.
It further revealed that there were also 30 cases of sexual violence agains children and another 30 over negligence.
Gender Ministry said it had also received 11 cases of psychological abuse towards women.
The ministry said it has been investigating each individual case and has taken initiative to prevent violence against women and children as much as possible.
