A Bangladeshi national has been arrested over the killing of a fellow country man.
A Bangladeshi worker was found stabbed to death in Guraidhoo island of Thaa atoll, on May 21. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the island’s health center.
Police said that investigations show that the man was stabbed following a dispute with another Bangladeshi national.
Noting that a 22-year-old was taken into police custody on May 21, police said that forensic evidence have been collected and that the investigation is near completion.
An official from Guraidhoo island council had told RaajjeMV that the deceased had ‘two to three’ stab wounds.
