Data consumption has been skyrocketing over the past few months
The package will be valid for seven days from the time of activation and the offer is valid throughout Ramadan until the end of May 2020
Customers will be able to enjoy 3GB of data for just MVR 75

Local telecommunications provider Dhiraagu has introduced a special “Data Value Pack” amid the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis facing the Maldives during this year’s fasting month of Ramadan.

The telecom giant revealed that the data value pack is specialized for the fasting month of Ramadan 1441 and is available for its prepaid customers.

The data value pack was introduced with the aim to ease their prepaid customers and provide flexibility for mobile data amid the evolving situation of the pandemic, said Dhiraagu.

Under this initiation, customers will be able to enjoy 3GB of data for just MVR 75 and they can activate the package by simply downloading DhiraaguApp.

The package will be valid for seven days from the time of activation and the offer is valid throughout Ramadan until the end of May 2020.

Due to the challenging times ahead of us, Muslim communities around the world are learning to adjust to the holiest month of the year, Ramadan within their homes. As we compromise the traditional rituals to curb further spread of the virus, we understand a lot of people are depending heavily on digital connectivity.”

Dhiraagu further revealed that they have observed data consumption reaching new heights over the past few months, since many are confined indoors due to the current situation.

In addition, as part of the telecom giant’s efforts to relieve customers during these challenging times, Dhiraagu Mobile Prepaid customers have been awarded 50% extra data, upon purchasing monthly data bundles during April.

This offer will also continue through May.

Dhiraagu remains steadfast to “enrich lives” through the company’s digital services.
