Speaker to address 6th India Ideas Conclave 2020
 
The sixth edition of the conclave is set to kick off with its inaugural session at 04:30pm, India time
 
It will commence on Friday and end on 1 March
 
The theme is "New India- Turning to Roots, Rising to Heights"

Speaker of the People’s Majlis and Former President Mohamed Nasheed is set to address the 6th India Ideas Conclave 2020 set to commence on Friday evening.

Nasheed made the announcement via Twitter, expressing his pleasure to be speaking alongside Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who will be addressing the inaugural session.

The sixth edition of the conclave is set to commence at 04:30pm, India time, on Friday and it is set to conclude on 1 March.

It is being held in Tent City, Narmada, Gujarat under the theme “New India- Turning to Roots, Rising to Heights”.

The seminar aims to bring together policy-makers, both local and foreign diplomats who are experienced and skillful, for discussions on one platform.

Nasheed stated that India’s founding principles of anti-colonialism, equality before the law, and democracy set it in good stead to be a responsible rising superpower.

Through the seminar, discussions will be held on the hindrances and challenges facing the Indian government and how they may be resolved.
