Parliament approves ratification of Revised Kyoto Convention
 
The convention seeks to promote customs control and facilitate customs procedures for international trade.
 
RKC is officially titled the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures

The Revised Kyoto Convention (RKC)- otherwise known as the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures- was founded in 1973 by the World Customs Organisation (WCO). The convention seeks to promote customs control and facilitate customs procedures for international trade.

The government determined to become a party to the Convention following deliberations on a paper submitted by the Ministry of Economic Development.
