Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) has launched a logo design competition.
According to a notice released by the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, the logo design competition is open to all interested parties.
They stipulate that the logo must be an original design, representing the services of the hospital. They revealed that the winning logo will be used on the hospital's business cards, letterhead, banner, uniform, and t-shirts.
Additionally, if the applicant's design is inspired by another logo, they ask applicants to submit a copy of the logo with written details. Further, the logo must not include crescents or crosses and should represent Addu, says the hospital.
Highlighting that the designs will be judged based on the logo's composition, originality, creativity, and how well it represents the hospital, the hospital disclosed that the candidates will be anonymous to the judging panel so as to remove any bias.
Moreover, the winner of the competition will be notified via phone or e-mail and will be awarded MVR10,000 (ten-thousand rufiya). As such, the hospital will have full rights to the logo.
While the deadline ends at noon on January 19th, applicants must submit their full name, ID card copy, address and contact number along with the logo.
Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) is the first tertiary hospital to be constructed outside of Male' City. The hospital, which began in former President Yameen's tenure, will officially begin operations this year, says the Ministry of Health.
