A fight broke out between four expatriates on Saturday

Roads of Male\' City

A man has been injured in the midst of a fight that broke out between two groups of expatriates.

According to Maldives Police Service (MPS), the fight between two groups of expatriates at Majeedhee Magu of Male' City was reported around 07:02 pm on Saturday.

Authorities revealed that one man was stabbed with a sharp object during the fight but the victim did not sustain any major injuries. As such, the police did not disclose what prompted the fight.

Including the man who was stabbed, a total of four men were involved in the fight. All four have been taken under custody.

The incident is undergoing further investigation.
