The country’s national airline, Maldivian is under preparations to commence scheduled durect flights between southernmost Addu City and Huvadhoo atoll.
Maldivian revealed this via Twitter on Thursday, stating that operations will commence on Sunday.
While the company has increased scheduled flights in time for the year-end holidays, affordable prices have also been set for select flights. Flights were increased in a total of seven sectors in line with the price slashes.
A lot of Maldivians travel out of the country for the year-end holidays, in light of which the airline offers affordable fares for flights to several countries.
Maldivian currently operates flights to several destinations including Thailand, India, Bangladesh as well as China. It operates flights to Trivandrum and Chennai in India as well. The company aims to begin operating more flights to a range of other exciting destinations in the near future as well.
