The window of popular cafe', Meraki Coffee Roasters, has been smashed on Saturday night with a rock and a threatening message has been left behind by the vandals.

According to witnesses, the attackers arrived on a motorcycle shortly after the cafe's opening hours were over and while employees were closing up the establishment for the night around 11:10 am.

The witness further stated that the attackers first pasted a threatening message on the cafe window and then attempted to smash the window with a rock. After the first attempt, the vandals threw a second rock and successfully damaged the window.

The threatening message, using a derogatory term for people, read "Women ***** should not be masculine. Men should not be feminine", referring to a former employee of the cafe' that has recently been targeted on social media for wearing suits and other stereo-typically masculine clothing as a woman.
