Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) has asked travelers to arrive at the airport three hours before departure, as the holiday season commences.
MACL advised those traveling abroad to be present three hours before departure, while those traveling domestic are to be present two hours prior.
It added that this is “to avoid long queues and possible delays.”
The advice comes days ahead of the start of the school holiday season, which will start on Thursday.
The national airline, Maldivian, has also increase its domestic flights for the holiday season.
