Nabeeha Abdul Razzaq has won the gold medal for Maldives after winning the women’s singles in badminton at the Indian Ocean Island Games 2019 in Mauritius.

Nabi won the first ever gold medal for Maldives in badminton on Friday by winning two straight sets against Seychelles in the finals.

Nabi won the first set against Seychelles with 21-41 and the second with 21-10.

She also has the chance to win a second gold medal by winning the badminton doubles.
