The Attorney General (AG) Office has introduced a digital network in order to increase work efficiency.
With 89 employees, the task manager system was introduced to the office on Sunday.
While the network was introduced in order to speed up employees’ tasks and to keep a record of their work progress, the network is integrated to messaging application, Telegram.
Through the network which has a specified login for each employee, they will receive a text message via Telegram when they are assigned a task.
Employees will also be questioned on their work proceedings upon the introduction of the network, which aims to make them more responsible and dedicated to their work, revealed Attorney General Ibrahim Riffath.
The aim of the network is also to increase staff productivity, effectiveness as well as to speed up their process of providing legal consultation and advice to the government.
Some of the benefits of introducing the task manager include digital organization and technological advancements that employees may benefit from, to cut back the use of paper for administrative work so as to reduce expenses, revealed Riffath.
AG office’s IT consultant revealed that the network paves way for employees to responsibly carry out their tasks and allows staff to concentrate well on their tasks. Staff will also be provided access to view the office’s administrative work efficiently through this network.
This network is believed to bring progress to the AG’s work and has been designed to accommodate the staff to modern technologies.
