The Maldives Partnership Forum is to be held on Monday and Tuesday at Kurumba Resort

Participants of the Maldives Partnership Forum have begun arriving in Maldives.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that representatives of various countries and institutions began arriving on Saturday night.

According to the Forum website, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid will be hosting a reception for the participants on Sunday night.

The Maldives Partnership Forum will be held on Monday and Tuesday at Kurumba Resort, and will be inaugurated by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. The Forum is set be the largest multilateral gathering of international development partners in the Maldives.

The Forum will see the government and multilateral partners discuss and deliberate on the direction of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s government and its key priorities. Partner countries and institutions will be detailed on the government’s upcoming projects that relate to the fulfillment of the 100-day pledges, as well as projects relating to the Blue Economy, social outcomes such as healthcare, education and housing, and government reform with the purpose gathering the necessary information, resources, expertise and capacity to undertake the implementation of the Government’s agenda.
