Crossroads, considered the largest tourism project in the Maldives, is set to open in July.

Leading Thai developer Singha Estate is set to open two hotels and a marina in Emboodhoo Lagoon, which is a 15-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport and capital Male’.

Upon completion of the multi-island integrated resort project, the hotels set to open are SAii lagoon Maldives, and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives Resort.

The project features the Maldives's first luxury yacht marina which will host guests’ private yachts. The Marina also includes the Maldives Discovery Centre, a cultural attraction that will showcase local arts and crafts, and the Marine Discovery Centre, a sea-life conservation hub that will spearhead world-class coral propagation activities.

The project is divided into three phases, the first phase, which includes development of a township and three hotels, cost USD 311 million while the second is estimated to cost USD 800 million.
