Coach Nizam enrolls in AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate Course
 
A total of 21 coaches from the Asian countries are enrolled in the certificate course, which include Nizam and Mohamed Shahid from the Maldives

Former TC Sports Club coach Mohamed Nizam has enrolled in the AFC ‘A’ Coaching Certificate Course.

Nizam is currently in Bangladesh and is enrolled in the course in Dhaka, which will end on May 14.

A total of 21 coaches from the Asian countries are enrolled in the certificate course, which include Nizam and Mohamed Shahid from the Maldives.

Bangladesh Football Federation’s Technical and Strategic Director Paul Thomas Smalley is the instructor, and only coaches with ‘B’ and ‘C’ licenses are allowed to enroll in the course, which has theoretical and practical tests.

Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has stated that only ‘A’ licensed coaches are allowed in the team is this year.

TC won the Dhivehi Premiere League and the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup in Bangladesh with Nizam, who has twice won best coach in Maldives.

With Nizam’s coaching, TC went from a second division club to first and won second place in the Dhivehi Premiere League for three years consecutively. The club had also won second place in the FA Cup twice and second in the President’s Cup once.
