The President’s Office has announced the government official working hours for the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan 1440.
Upon President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s decision, the government set working hours during the fasting month to be between 9am to 1pm.
These working hours are effective from the 1st of Ramadan till the 7th of Shawwal that follows Eid-Al-Fitr.
President @ibusolih has decided that government working hours for this year’s Ramadan shall be from 0900hrs to 1300hrs (9AM to 1PM) effective from 1st of Ramadan to 7th Shawaal.

While Solih advised all government employees to plan their working schedules to fit the official hours during the month of Ramadan, President’s Spokesperson Ibrahim Hoodh revealed that the first day of Ramadan will be declared a holiday. However, they are yet to decide on declaring the day that follows, a holiday or not.
