Maldives’ first ever National HR Convention and Expo concluded successfully, says Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP).
The convention took place at the main convention center of Dharubaaruge in capital Male' on Monday and Tuesday.
Speaking to RaajjeTV, MAHRP President Hussain Afeef said the convention saw more than 400 participants and has received overwhelming praise, noting that most people had been wanting such a convention.
At the conclusion of the convention, certificates were given to participants and speakers and prizes were awarded to 10 winners chosen through a lottery.
Islanders Group’s Senior Manager Fathimath Salva praised the convention for allowing highly skilled local and foreign speakers to share their knowledge.
Other participants have also praised the convention for providing a platform in the Maldives to share valuable information on human resource management.
MAHRP said it plans to hold the second edition of the convention in 2020.
