Jumhooree Party (JP) stated that it has not decided to contest all 87 seats in parliament and that they have only opened the opportunity for members to vie for the seats that they wish.

JP’s spokesperson Ali Solih said a committee will review the applicants and give the party tickets to their candidates for the parliament election before January 25.
