The Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM) has held its annual general assembly for this year.

VAM president Mohamed Latheef told RaajjeMV that the association has passed new procedures and voted on a new logo.

Latheef said that the decision to change the association logo was made by their executive committee, while the procedural amendments were made as per the directive of the Maldives Sports Commission.

There are only two Volleyball clubs that meet the requirements of the association. Of the two, Addu Sports had participated in the general assembly. Police Club had not been present.

The Fuvahmulah Miskiy Magu and Maldivian Sports, clubs that meet the requirements of the association, had both lost their memberships due to not being registered with the Sports Commission.
