An individual has been arrested in Hulhumeedhoo island of Addu city for theft of a local home.
The 25-year-old was arrested in the operation launched by police on Thursday.
On October 2nd, a home robbery resulted in electricity wiring equipment being stolen.
The police have confiscated the equipment and other items reported stolen from the home.
The suspect has been remanded by three days and the police are further investigating the matter.
