State lifts suspension of two Gaafu Alif council senior officials
The CSC said in a letter in September that the two officials are on a paid-suspension of 30 days
The atoll council president Ahmed Fuad has confirmed that the two officials have been relieved of their suspension

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) suspension of two senior officials of the local government council in Gaafu Alif atoll, has been lifted.

Senior administrator Mohamed Naseer and Assistant Director Mohamed Hassan were suspended on 18th September, on the basis of an ongoing investigation into allegations that they had allowed state property to be used at a Joint Opposition rally in the atoll.

The CSC said in a letter in September that the two officials are on a paid-suspension of 30 days, until the investigation has been adequately carried out.

The atoll council president Ahmed Fuad has confirmed that the two officials have been relieved of their suspension.
