It took an hour for firefighters to put out the fire
A fire incident occurred at the police tow yard early Saturday morning.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) stated that it received report of the fire at 3:06am.
Firefighters controlled the fire at 4:00am.
Neither the defense force nor the police service have confirmed the cause of the fire.
This is the first time that a fire began at the police tow yard.
