Joint Opposition presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that, if elected, his administration will make it restart single-session school policy, as during Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s government.
Speaking in HDh. Vaikaradhoo on Monday, Solih noted that the construction of a nine-classroom school building in the island have stalled and vowed that the government of the Joint Opposition will complete its construction.
Noting that Haa Dhaalu atoll has few resorts, Solih vowed to develop a resort near Vaikaradhoo and to establish sewerage systems in all Maldivian islands, including Vaikaradhoo.
Solih is visiting 13 islands in his three-day trip to Haa Dhaalu atoll.
On Sunday, Solih visited Nolhivaranfaru, Hirimaradhoo, Nellaidhoo, Naivaadhoo, and Makunudhoo. He has been warmly received in every island. During his visits, he opened the opposition campaign site in Nellaidhoo and Makunudhoo.
