The government has brought changes to its social housing project ‘Hiyaa 2018’ pertaining to the category for doctors and nurses.
While the housing ministry has allocated 475 flats for doctors and nurses, the new change states that 125 of the flats are for doctors and 350 flats are for nurses.
The ministry has also brought changes to the educational requirements for applicants. Applicants are now required to have the highest-level certificate in their respective field according to the national qualifications framework.
The government is set to give 7000 flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II for the 'Hiyaa 2018' housing project. There are 12 categories in total, some are for specific government-affiliated companies while the others are for civil servants, Male’ residents, doctors and nurses, teachers, police and military officers, single mothers and fathers, and families with disabled people.
The government will be accepting application forms at Dharubaaruge until the end of July.
