Mohamed Hussain to be approved for ambassador to Russia
Mundhu’s name has been sent to the committee on national security

Mohamed Hussain Shareef (Muhdhu)’s name has been sent to the parliament committee for approval as the non-resident ambassador to Russia.
The second parliamentary session for this year began on Monday.
At Monday’s sitting, Mundhu’s name was sent to the committee on national security.
Mundhu is currently the ambassador to Sri Lanka.
European countries as well as the US and other large nations have the same ambassador for Sri Lanka and Maldives and while some countries have embassies in Maldives, most have embassies in Sri Lanka.
