EC extends deadline for voter's list complaint submission

The deadline for complaint submission was to end at 1:30pm on Wednesday

Elections Commission

Elections Commission (EC) has extended the deadline for submitting complaints regarding their voter’s list for the upcoming presidential elections.

While the deadline for complaint submission was to end at 1:30pm on Wednesday, it was extended till 10:30pm.

The Commission urged all to file their complaints 'as soon as possible'.

While the list was publicized on June 10, complaint submission was opened the next day.

Noting that the list was compiled based on information provided by the Department of National Registration, EC had noted that there could be issues.

Those eligible to vote can check their status through the gazette, website, or through SMS.
