Two stores burglarized in Male’ on Sunday

Two stores have been burglarized in capital Male’ City early Sunday morning.
The police media officer told RaajjeMV that Three H Mart on Haveeree Magu and Ravaabee store on Majeedhee Magu were burglarized after midnight.
The officer said burglars broke into Three H Mart at 4:40am and Ravaabee at 6:23am.
The burglar had broken into three H Mart after breaking the window but was captured by a bystander, who held onto him until the police arrived. The 28-year-old suspect has a criminal record of theft.
It is not clear how much was taken from Raavaabee, which is a sandal store, but the cash counter had less than MVR 500 in it.
After Ramadan each year, police advise citizens to secure their property and belongings before leaving for their Eid trips.
