The Ministry of Environment and Energy has announced a photography competition to mark the world environment day.
The theme for the competition is ‘sustainability and preservation of biological diversity’, and will accept photographs in two categories; depicting human impact on the environment or of corals and reefs.
Judges will select first, second, and third place winners for photographs from both categories. First place winners are eligible for a cash price of MVR 10,000 and second place winners receive 7,000 while third place winners will recieve 5,000.
