Post Office made a subsidiary of Island Aviation
The government had 100 percent of shares in both companies
99 percent of the shares at the Post Office has been transferred to Island Aviation and the remaining 1 percent was transferred to MACL
Policy changes have been made to the Post Office, accordingly

Maldives Post Limited (Post Office) has been made a subsidiary company of Island Aviation Services.

The Privatization and Corporatization Board announced the decision in a press statement on Monday.

The Board stated that while the government had 100 percent of shares in both companies, 99 percent of the shares at the Post Office has been transferred to Island Aviation and the remaining 1 percent was transferred to Maldives Airports Company Ltd on May 30.

The Board stated that policy changes have been made to the Post Office, accordingly.
