Opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has revealed that campaign activities for their leader and former President Mohamed Nasheed's campaign for the party primaries slated for the 30th of May, have been held at 138 islands thus far.
Member of Parliament for North-Hithadhoo constituency and Campaign Manager, Mohamed Aslam said that Nasheed had held door-to-door campaign by speaking to citizens of 115 islands.
While campaign teams had visited 79 islands, they had held campaign gatherings in eight of them.
As a conclusion event of the campaign activities, opposition party has scheduled a special gathering at the national campaign site in capital city Male', on Tuesday.
MP Aslam said that members of the party had given their full support, cooperation and assistance in all the activities planned by the teams throughout the entirety of the campaign.
