Three political employees change positions
Hassan Rasheed has been appointed as Minister of State to the Ministry of Health

The positions of three political employees at the ministries have changed.
The President’s Office announced on Monday that the changes were made by President Abdulla Yameen.
Hassan Rasheed, Minister of State at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has been appointed as Minister of State to the Ministry of Health.
Ahmed Hafiz, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture, has been appointed as Minister of State to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Hafiz was a longtime employee of the Marine Research Centre whose research was mainly based on fisheries. He is also a member of Dhiraagu’s board of directors.
Abdul Muhsin, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has been appointed as Deputy Minister to the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.
Muhsin has been working in the field of sports for a longtime and is the former MP of Nilandhoo. The President’s Office has not disclosed the reason for changing his position.
