A driver has lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in the glass wall of a shop.

While no injuries have been reported in the accident, the crash caused cracks on the glass wall of "Aseynia" shop located on Ameer Ahmed road of capital city Male'.

Officers of the Maldives Police Serivce (MPS) speaking regarding the accident had said that it had occured as the rider had attempted to start a parked cycle and failed to control it.

Police also said that the accident was reported to them at around 11:20 a.m on Sunday.

No arrests have been made regarding the accident thus far.
