The one-day driver’s license program is to be held in the coming holidays in Male’.

The Transport Authority made the ‘Eh Lakin Mashah License’ especially for young people seeking driver’s licenses.

At a press conference, the economic ministry’s deputy minister Abdulla Mohamed said the program will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 9pm to 12am and the application forms will be issued from 9am to 11:30am.

The driving test will be conducted at the Velana area with the help of the police service, he added.

The fee for the driving test and theory test is MVR 100 each, and MVR 50 for the revenue stamp.

A 15-minutes information session will be conducted before the theory test, which can be conducted with 40 to 50 people at a time.

The program will be conducted in other high-population areas as well.
