RaajjeMV understands that former Islamic Minister Dr Abdul Majeed Abdul Baaree is still in serious condition after suffering a stroke in Sri Lanka on Friday.

Dr Majeed is now on ventilator support at a Sri lankan hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

He was found unconscious in his room on Friday morning. His family has since flown to Colombo to be with him.

Doctors were forced to place him in a medically induced coma due to internal bleeding in his brain.
