The organization said that their service assists about 150 people per day
Islamic education organization Team Dawah Maldives, a local chapter of a global mission, is looking for volunteers that will distribute food items on the streets at sunset this Ramadan.
The organization’s members and volunteers distribute food items on the streets of capital city Malé at sunset, for those that cannot reach home or unable to attain food to break their fasts, every year.
The organization said that their service assists about 150 people every day. They give out portions of dates and water.
The World Dawah Mission aims ‘to empower, educate and cultivate Muslims so they can share Islam with the world and positively contribute to society’.
