Kuwaiti national wins ‘A-Nour Al Mubin’ International Quran Competition

The “Al-Nour Al Mubin” Quran Competition is a collaborative initiative taken on by the Centre for the Holy Quran, Ministry of Islamic Affairs and state broadcaster, Public Service Media | Presidents Office
Abdulla Mohamed Khathim Mohamed Al-Khayyat has won first place in the ‘A-Nour Al Mubin’ International Quran Competition, the first such event to be hosted in the Maldives.
President Abdulla Yameen had conferred awards and certificates to Al-Khayyat and other high-achieving participants of the competition.
The “Al-Nour Al Mubin” Quran Competition is a collaborative initiative taken on by the Centre for the Holy Quran, Ministry of Islamic Affairs and state broadcaster, Public Service Media.
Participants from Sudan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Kuwait, Egypt and Bangladesh had competed and judges were selected from Sudan, Pakistan, Malaysia, Yemen, and the Maldives.
